Who We Are
We could go on and on about our goals and what we stand for, but that simply isn't us. Our goals and aims are simple, to help those in need and to help our community grow through learning, life changing experiences, and fundraising. How might we achieve this you may ask? The simple answer is through hard work and dedication. Our team has been working night and day to help bring solutions to problems that affect Canadians everyday. As our name implies, we are entirely student run. We're just typical everyday high school students, but what makes us different is that we've realized that we can do so much by simply making an effort. Who are we exactly? Find out more below!

Our Founders

Corey Li
President, Finance Head, Media and Marketing Co-Head
Hey! My name is Corey, and I am one of two presidents of Queen's Glen Student Charity Fund. I am extremely excited and honoured to be able to lead my team through what I foresee to be a spectacular journey. I strongly believe in giving back to the community, helping the less fortunate, and giving a second chance to those who need it the most. I look forward to all future events and fundraisers we'll hold, and remember, it doesn't take a lot to do a lot!

Avery Wang
President, Customer Service Co-Head, Administrative Head
Hey there! My name is Avery, one of your presidents and a student currently attending Richmond Hill High School. I am excited to be co-leading on this eventful journey along with my friends and communities in order to create a brighter future. I am looking forward to all future events and being able to bring communities together.

Lawrence Huang
Vice-President, Customer Service and Marketing Co-Head
Hey there, it's Lawrence Huang, your favorite vice president (disregard the fact that there is only 1 vice president). I am looking forward to embarking on this wonderful journey with and for the community. Serving those in need is always such a rewarding experience and I would recommend it for anyone with a big heart and half a brain. Maybe you don't have to attend all these charity events and that's completely fine. Just remember to go outside today and help someone out, whether it be holding the door open or giving a compliment to a stranger. No matter what you choose to do, always just remember to pay it forward!

Kevin Li
Media Head and Marketing Executive
Hello. My name is Kevin, and I am a student attending Our Lady Queen of the World Catholic Academy. I have joined Corey, Avery and the rest of the team this summer as I would like to continue to lend a helping hand to those in need in our community. After the last event, I was delighted to see the joy that we brought to the charities with our donations, and I would like to continue that trend in the future!

Ian Sands
Founder, Queen's Glen College Principal
Hi, I am the principal of Queen’s Glen. As a lifelong educator, I’ve always been inspired by those looking to help others. The Queen’s Glen Student Charity Fund is our way to give back. It is named Student Charity Fund because we as adults and educators are here to support the students in their endeavors to improve the community. Keep up the amazing work!
